A few common questions

When you don’t have time to pick something up, you’re a terrible cook, forgot your bosses’ birthday or you’ve just got a hankering for something sweet, The Sugar Deli comes to the rescue. Our dessert aficionados create fresh, delicious desserts whipped up daily and delivered on demand, anywhere in town.
Our goodies are available to be delivered from 10am – 9pm, Monday to Friday.
We release a delicious, new menu each week. Why? Because we like to change it up, keep things fun and treat Canberrans to our new creations.
Yes, you can. We give you the option to pre-order as far as two weeks in advance!
Six. Always. No more and no less (unless something has sold out for the day).
We deliver to all suburbs in Canberra, including Hall. We also deliver to Queanbeyan and Googong.

Please note that we DO NOT deliver to the following areas:

  • Royalla
  • Murrumbateman
  • Yass
  • Bungendore
  • Burra

We deliver between the hours of 10am – 9pm. You are given the option to select your delivery time slot upon checkout. You can also opt for on demand delivery. Unfortunately, we cannot provide you with an exact delivery time unless you select on demand delivery.
Standard delivery is an $8 fee and on demand delivery is $12.
No sorry. We’re strictly deliveries only.
We’re happy to leave your order for you if you or you’re recipient aren’t home, we just ask for your expressed consent to do so. Please include delivery instructions on your order or check the “Drop-off” checkbox at on the checkout page if you’d like your order dropped off.
Our goods are made fresh, then delivered straight to you!
We recommend eating our desserts within 6 hours for maximum freshness.
We don’t recommend freezing our goods for consumption at a later date.

Occasionally, yes we do! Our vegan goods are completely void of animal products and dairy. Our vegan desserts are produced in the same kitchen as our regular desserts, and although cross-contamination is near-impossible, we think it’s best that we let you know.
Although we offer ‘low-gluten’ desserts we cannot guarantee that any of our products are fully gluten free. Our ‘low-gluten’ goods have no gluten added to them however, there is always a possibility of cross contamination due to the kitchen and transport environments. Our desserts are manufactured and prepared on equipment that may come into contact with traces of gluten.

We recommend that our ‘low-gluten’ options are suitable for people with a non-Coeliac gluten sensitivity

We do not recommend that anyone with a peanut allergy consumes our desserts.
