Delivery Locations and Prices
The Sugar Deli delivers to every suburb throughout the Canberra area, Queanbeyan and Jerrabomberra areas for a fee of $12. We do not deliver to Hall, Murrumbateman, Googong, Royalla, Tharwa and Bungendore.
All prices are shown in Australian dollars and include taxes. The total cost of your order will be shown upon checkout, prior to payment.
The Sugar Deli delivers between 11.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday. You can pre-select your preferred delivery time slot upon checking and we will do our best to meet this. Due to the high volume of orders we receive and the predefined delivery routes that our drivers follow, this is not always possible.

What Happens When the Recipient Isn’t Home?
If you believe there is a chance that the recipient will not be at the address provided you need to provide us with permission to leave the goods (this is done when checking out). Otherwise, we will not leave the desserts unattended and you will need to pay an additional $12 re-delivery fee depending on location. You can purchase a cooler bag for $7 to help keep your treats fresh.
What happens if an item isn’t available after I order it?
By using this site, you agree that on the odd occasion where a product is unavailable The Sugar Deli have the discretion to replace it with another item of equal or greater value.
What Special Instructions Should I Provide?
With regards to business addresses, please specify the name of the business and whether the goods should be delivered to reception, a loading dock or concierge.
Please make sure that we’re able to gain access to the property when delivering. If the address is located within a secure complex, please make sure that the recipient is home on the day of delivery.
Please provide the name of the hospital, the ward and the bed number if you can.
What Happens if I Provide Incorrect Delivery Instructions?
It’s important that you provide us with the correct address details. If you provide us with incorrect details we will attempt your delivery as per your instructions and accept no responsibility for a failed delivery. If we are unable to deliver to the address provided we can re-deliver on the same day or another day of your choice. However, this incurs a minimum fee of $12. If we cannot send the original desserts because we deem them un-safe, we charge 60% of the original order price plus the additional $12 delivery fee.
Changes and cancellations to dessert orders are accepted until 72 hours prior to your delivery. No refunds will be provided for orders that are cancelled with less than 72 hours notice. All cancellation refunds are subject to a 10% fee. The Sugar Deli will retain 10% of the price of your order to cover costs incurred to initiate your order.
Changes to Your Order
You may make any changes that you wish to your retail order until 72 hours prior to the delivery time specified.
Please choose carefully. We do not normally give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision. You can choose between a refund, exchange or credit if you receive a product that is not satisfactory, have been wrongly described or are different to the product purchased on the website.
The Sugar Deli endeavours to make the experience of all our customers as pleasurable as possible. If you believe you’ve received a product that is not satisfactory, we ask that you contact us immediately with full details of your purchase, including the order number, date of order and products purchased. We review all refund requests on a case by case basis, and will do our best to respond to your issue within 48 hours. Unfortunately, The Sugar Deli cannot process refunds for products that are not to the individual taste of the customer
When purchasing from The Sugar Deli, card details are transmitted through a secure server. Card data is not hosted by The Sugar Deli after processing.
